Steps to autism assessment:

Come to the appointment
Receive written report within 20-30 working days (approx. 4-6 calendar weeks)
Engage in follow-up telehealth session (optional)
What is included?
2-3 hour in-person assessment, comprising observation of/interview with your child and parent interview;
Comprehensive, detailed report including:
social/emotional/behavioural difficulties screen (children/teens) or depression/stress/anxiety screen (adults);
teacher observation checklist (if deemed helpful/required);
explanations of how the individual assessed meets/does not meet each criteria according to the DSM-5;
summary integrating information regarding any additional mental health issues; and
treatment recommendations + helpful contacts.
30 minute feedback session via telehealth to discuss results and recommendations.
